Nickel NTA HTC Agarose Resin has a binding capacity of ~60 mg/ml. Inaddition, it allows for purification of proteins under native ordenaturing conditions. GoldBio Nickel Agarose works very well with the His-Tag Buffer Set.
NTA cross-linked Agarose resin consists of nitrilotriacetic acid groupsligated by stable ether linkages via a spacer arm. NTA is a tetravalentchelating agent, covalently coupled to cross-linked agarose beads,providing a higher specificity and lower ion leaching than IDA linkedresins. NTA resins have also been shown to be more robust in thepresence of higher concentrations of EDTA, but may require a higherimidazole concentration for protein elution. This resin is loaded withNi 2+. The resulting, ready-to-use resin is ideal for rapid purifications of His-tagged proteins.
HTC beads are high throughput beads designed to meetthe demand for industrial process separation.Their rigidity andmechanical resistance permits high flow rates, with good resolution in aminimum time frame, making these beads ideal for process-scale use. HTC beads are highly crosslinked 4% and 6% agarose matrices and haveexcellent physical and chromatographic qualities.They areautoclavable.These beads are an ideal support for the immobilizationof ligands for Affinity Chromatography and base media support forproducing IEX (Ion Exchange) and Hydrophobic interaction chromatographyresins.
Nickel-NTA HTC agarose resin is suitable for use with FPLC or HPLC, and can withstand pressures up to 300 kPa.

Do not freeze.Note: GoldBio recommends using Nickel NTA resins in thepresence of elevated levels of reducing agents in order to ensureoptimal purification of your target protein. Nickel IDA resins may showsome discoloration in reaction with low levels of reducing agents butare still functional at low levels of reducing agents (≤5mM DTT).
